Walk – Truckee River East from Cottonwood Park

Starting Location: Tahoe-Pyramid Trail (Cottonwood Park) TH. Directions: Go east on Greg St form S. McCarran, turning at the first left on to Spice Island Drive. Follow around to the park.
Description: This walk will start and end at Cottonwood Park. We will head east for a mile and a half and then return back to Cottowood park for a total of three miles. There will be an option to walk only two miles.
The path is flat and easy.
Route Type: Out-and-Back Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
Event Specific Information: Cottonwood Park is a 6 acre-park located off Spice Island Dr. on the north side of the Truckee River in Sparks.
What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
