Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 08:30 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center
Starting Location: Incline Flume TH. Directions: Take I-580 South to Exit #24; NV 431 West. About 4.1 miles past the Mt Rose Summit, there is limited parking on right side of road. The Trailhead is across the highway, down the hill about 450 feet.
Description: The Incline Flume Trail is located off the Mt. Rose Highway, near Incline Village. It is a well-maintained, single-track trail that winds through areas of pine and fir trees. This will be a 3-mile round-trip snowshoe, with an elevation gain of less than 400 feet. There are beautiful views of Lake Tahoe and the Diamond Peak ski area.
Distance(s): 3.0 Route Type: Out-and-Back Elevation Gain: 325 (ft) Difficulty: 3 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

What to Bring: Snowshoes, Poles (with the larger baskets), Water, Snacks/lunch, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Dress in layers.
