Starting Location: Tahoe-Pyramid Trail (Cottonwood Park) TH. Directions: Go east on Greg St form S. McCarran, turning at the first left on to Spice Island Drive. Follow around to the park.

Description: The walk will start and end in Cottonwood Park in Sparks. It is a flat and easy out-and-back walk along the Truckee River on a paved path. We will follow the Truckee River west on the Tahoe Pyramid Trail about 0.75 miles to the McCarran Bridge, then turn around and walk back to Cottonwood Park. From the park we will then follow the river east on the trail about 0.75 miles before walking back to the park.

Route Type: Out-and-Back     Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
