Starting Location: Washoe Lake State Park Main Day Use Boat Ramp BL. Directions: Take US Route 395 South from Reno towards Carson City. Take Exit #10, Eastlake Blvd. Turn left onto Eastlake Blvd and go 3.2 miles to the Washoe Lake State Park entrance on the left. Just past the kiosk, turn left and go .5 miles to the boat ramp.

Event Specific Information: There is a fee of $5 or free with the current Annual Nevada State park pass displayed.

What to Bring: Purchase the required AIS decal from the Department of Wildlife (NDOW.ORG) located at 1100 Valley Rd; Reno, NV. Check the website or call 775-688-1500. Dress for the weather. Have your life vest (PFD), hat, sunscreen, drinking water, bug spray and snacks.
