Starting Location: Idlewild Park TH. Directions: By the kids playground, across from the Indian Statue, and just east of the California Building.
Description: Walk west from Idlewild Park on the paved paths along the Truckee River to Ivan Sack Park. We will take a short break and then retrace our walk back to Idlewild Park. This is an easy walk on paved paths. The distance is about 3 miles.
Route Type: Out-and-Back Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
Event Specific Information: Directions: Idlewild Park is located south of the Truckee River on Idlewild Drive, just west of Boothe street. There are restrooms at the park across the street from the California Building.
What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
