Starting Location: Damonte Ranch Park TH. Directions: From South Virginia Street go east 1 mile on Damonte Ranch Parkway, turn left on Steamboat Parkway past the light at Veterans Parkway to Damonte Ranch Park on the south side of Steamboat Parkway.

Description: Walk around the wildlife sanctuary located in the South Truckee Meadows at Damonte Ranch. The walk is 3 miles. The entire path is wide, paved and flat. The weather is expected to be about 80 degrees.

Route Type: Loop     Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: This is a federally protected wetlands of Steamboat Creek and should have many varieties of wildlife.

What to Bring: Water, hat, poles, comfortable hiking shoes/boots, snack
