Event: Quilici Ranch Road to Fleish Dam

Starting Location: Tahoe-Pyramid Trail (Quilici Ranch) TH. Directions: I-80 west to EXIT 3. Turn left at the end of the off ramp. Immediately past the railroad tracks, turn left on Quilici Ranch Road. Drive about 1.6 miles to the parking lot on the right.

Description: We will be hiking from Quilici Ranch Road to the Fleish Suspension Bridge. The trail is part of the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail System.  This part of the trail is mostly a gravel road with loose rocks, in a semi-forested terrain. This is considered a moderate hike, however there are some steep sections with loose rocks. Some parts of the trail may be muddy. We will have lunch near the bridge and river. Half way through the hike to the bridge we will enter California. Watch for the sign!

What to Bring: Wear shoes suitable for hiking on dirt trails with loose rocks and mud. Layer clothing as appropriate for the weather. Trekking poles for those who use them. Sun protection. Bring plenty of water, snack/lunch.
