Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 09:15 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center
Starting Location: Tamarack Lake TH Lanel Dr. Directions: From the junction of I-80 and I-580/US-395 in Reno, take I 580 South to NV-431 West, Mt Rose Hwy. Proceed to .5 miles past Mt Rose Ski Tahoe, you will come to a parking area on your right.

Description: We will snowshoe toward the south side of Tamarack Lake for 1 mile, then uphill to the moderate mountain bike trail, then downhill for a mile, and return to Mt. Rose Highway for a total of 3.0 miles
Distance(s): 3.0 Route Type: Out-and-Back Elevation Gain: 500 (ft) Difficulty: 4 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

What to Bring: Snowshoes, Poles, Water, Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Dress in layers.
