Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 08:30 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center

Starting Location: Lakeview TH. Directions: From the junction of I-80 and I-580/US-395 in Reno, take US 395 South to NV-431 Mt Rose Hwy West, proceed 3.1 miles past the Mt Rose Summit to the large pull out on the left side of the highway.
     Facilities: None Available

Description: Trekking through a beautiful forest, starting at a steep 0.05 mile then gradual elevation to a broad meadow. Trekking across the meadow to some small peaks that have an outstanding view of deep blue Lake Tahoe at its finest, surrounded by snow capped mountains, blue skies and scattered clouds. Good news is the return trek is downhill.

Distance(s): 3.0     Route Type: Out-and-Back     Elevation Gain: 325 (ft)     Difficulty: 4 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
