Due to winter conditions, we will do two loops around the paved Sparks Marina Trail with a one loop option. Each loop is 2 miles but we can begin with a trip through the Legends Mall area to look at the statues and other scenery prior to joining the trail around the Marina. If there is snow on the course hiking poles may be useful. There are restrooms at Scheels and also along the Marina trail.

Directions:  We will meet at Scheels at Legends (rather than at the boat ramp where the kayakers ordinarily meet.) Scheels is located north of I-80 in east Sparks.  Exit north from I-80 onto Sparks Blvd. and then turn left unto E. Lincoln Way. At the round-about take Scheels Drive past the front of the store to lot #7 at the southwest corner of the parking lot near the Marina trail.
