Easy  —  7 1/2 + Miles

 Please check the website Wednesday night or Thursday morning before you leave.  Weather or unsafe conditions may force a cancellation.

Time:   We will meet at the Scheels parking lot at 9:45 am,  and leave promptly at  10:00 am.  We will meet at  LOT 7 at Scheels.  Lot 7 is at the southwest corner of the parking lot.

The weather conditions for the last month have not been favorable for walking or hiking, since the highs have been in the low 30’s, and not melting the ice and snow on the paths.  We will attempt a walk around Sparks Marina, again,  this week, four times around the marina.  In order not to get too dizzy, we will reverse direction for each lap.

Hike Preparations:
(1)  Layer! Temperatures at the beginning will be cold.
(2) Trekking poles are advised. There could be residual ice/snow on the path.
(3)  Bring adequate water/snack.

Directions:   Scheels is located off I-80.  Take the Sparks Blvd exit and turn left.  Then proceed to Scheels.
