Starting Location: Sparks Marina Parking. Directions: From the intersection of I80/395/580 go east to McCarran Blvd (exit #19). Go north on McCarran Blvd .2 miles and turn right on Nichols Blvd. At the round-about go north on Howard Drive. Turn right into the first parking area.
Facilities: Flush Toilet
Description: We will meet at the Sparks Marina boat ramp, located along the Western side of the Marina. We will walk around the marina, including the peninsula on a paved level path for a total of 2 miles. There will be an option to walk around in the opposite direction for a total of 4 miles. We will walk to the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza. There are restrooms at the North and South sections of the Marina.
Distance(s): 4.0 or 2.0 Route Type: Loop Difficulty: 2 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
Event Specific Information: Rain is predicted for Monday so watch your emails for cancelation!
What to Bring: Drinking water and snacks. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Trekking poles may be useful.
