Starting Location: Rock Park TH. Directions: The trailhead is at Rock Park – just north of the Truckee River on the west side of South Rock Blvd., between Mill St. and Greg St. in Sparks.
     Entrance/User Fee(s): 0.00     Facilities: Flush Toilet

Description: Lets have a nice stroll along the river. There should be some shade as well as sun. We will go east from Rock park to the McCarran Bridge for the turn around. This will be a 3 mile walk.
We will meet at Rock Park. There is plenty of parking.
This walk is on a wide paved path along the Truckee River on the north side of the river. The trailhead is at Rock Park—just north of the Truckee River on the west side of South
Rock Blvd., between Mill St. and Greg St in Sparks.

There is a trailer park adjacent to Rock Park.

Route Type: Out-and-Back     Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: Wear comfortable shoes and carry water. It is summer in Reno/Sparks.

What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
