Starting Location: Tahoe-Pyramid Trail (Mayberry Park) TH. Directions: From I-80, Exit 10 (West McCarran Blvd.), head south for 9/10 mile and turn right on 4th Street. Turn left on Woodland Avenue. Proceed down Woodland until you reach Mayberry Park.

Description: Mayberry Park to Dorostkar Park, West Reno
Meet in the parking area at Mayberry Park at 8:45 am. The walk will begin at 9:00 am.
This is an out and back walk from Mayberry Park; almost 4 miles out and back. The walk will be on a paved path with some dirt paths in Dorostkar Park if the ground is dry. If the ground is still wet/damp, we will stay on the concrete path. Sections of this walk includes, tree coverage and walking along the Truckee River.

There is a portable toilet in the parking area.
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, carry water and a snack. You may want a walking stick. Also, everyone must have a signed waiver/release form on file with OLLI. If you do not have one, they will be available that morning.

Route Type: Out-and-Back     Difficulty: 1 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: BE SURE TO WATCH THE WEBSITE IN CASE THIS LIGHT HIKE HAS TO BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER.

What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
