Starting Location: Sparks Marina Parking. Directions: Take I-80 to East McCarran Blvd. Turn left and continue to Nichols Blvd (0.3 miles). Turn right on Nichols Blvd and drive to the round-about. Continue through the round-about onto Howard Drive. Turn right into the first parking area.

Description: We will hike a lap around the 2.5 mile Sparks Marina paved loop trail and a spur into the adjacent Legends shopping center. For those wishing to walk 4.5 miles we will do another lap around the Marina. The Sparks Marina Trail is a pleasant nearly flat loop along the water. There are usually numerous water birds. Legends has interesting art pertinent to northern Nevada.
