Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 09:00 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center

Starting Location: Chickadee Ridge TH. Directions: Take I-580 South to Exit 24; Mt. Rose Hwy (NV-431). In about 17.5 miles, about 1 mile past the summit and about 1/4 mile past the TRT Tahoe Meadows South Trailhead, there is a pull-out on the right.
Facilities: None Available

Description: Trek to start at the chickadee trailhead, go through the meadows to the interpretive trail, complete that loop then return to the chickadee trailhead.

Distance(s): 3.0     Route Type: Out-and-Back     Elevation Gain: 100 (ft)     Difficulty: 4 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: Please be familiar with the operation of your snow shoes.

Weather permitting. Watch your email in case of cancellation or change of location.

What to Bring: Snowshoes, Poles, Water, Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Dress in layers.
