Starting Location: Rock Park TH. Directions: The trailhead is at Rock Park – just north of the Truckee River on the west side of South Rock Blvd., between Mill St. and Greg St. in Sparks.
Entrance/User Fee(s): 0.00 Facilities: Flush Toilet
Description: We will follow the Truckee River Path about 1.5 miles east; past the McCarran “Bat Bridge”. We will then turn around and walk back to Rock Park. Walkers wanting 2 miles will turn back at 1 mile, at Glendale Park.
This is a pleasant easy walk along the river on a paved path. It is mostly flat! The elevation delta is negligible.

Event Specific Information: First hike after DAYLIGHT SAVINGS has begun on 3/10.
What to Bring: Drinking water and snacks. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Trekking poles may be useful.
