Light Hike – Tahoe Meadows west loop

Starting Location: TRT (Tahoe Meadows – South) TH. Directions: The end of Mt. Rose Highway Meadow where the trees start.
Description: We will hike the trails on the west side of Tahoe Meadows towards Ophir Creek and return on a parallel trail. Meet at the Tahoe Rim Trailhead on the west side of the Tahoe Meadows. You can turn around at any time, or return on some of the connector trails.
Distance(s): 4.0 Route Type: Loop Elevation Gain: 300 (ft) Difficulty: 3 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
Event Specific Information: Be prepared for mosquitos and damp trails.
What to Bring: Drinking water and snacks. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Trekking poles may be useful.
