Starting Location: Lowe’s Garden Center Parking at Legends. Directions: Take I-80 West to Exit #20 (Sparks Blvd). Turn left and make another left onto E Lincoln Way. Take 1st exit in Traffic Circle (Scheels Dr). Turn left into Lowe’s parking lot and head towards the Garden Center

Description: Route: Use bike path south from Lowes in Sparks Legends shopping center to the Truckee River, then bike path west to Kietzke Lane, zip downhill to Victorian Ave. Cruise through downtown Sparks, then use the bike path going east and finally loop around the Sparks Marina.  Features river, historic downtown, burning man art, the bug bug, and the marina.  We might even spot some escaped duck race duckies.

What to Bring: Helmets required. Other suggestions: Pinch your bike tires the day before. Add sunscreen, bright clothing, water bottle, and maybe a pre-ride Advil/Aleve/Aspirin.
