Starting Location: Safeway on Steamboat Parkway. Directions: Take I-580 South to Exit #26 (Damonte Ranch Pkwy.) Turn left onto Damonte; in about 0.7 miles, turn left onto Steamboat Pkwy. Make the first left into the shopping center. Drive back towards Safeway (1031 Steamboat Pkwy).

Description: Meander about the Double Diamond / Damonte wetlands area in southeast Reno. Slow paced, lots of stops, 80% plus on quiet bike paths and residential streets. Only one gradual climb.

Ride features waterfowl, maybe wild horses, pleasant views and nice suburban neighborhoods.

8:30 am start from the parking lot just to the right/east side of the Safeway. Nice restrooms are just inside Safeway past the Starbucks counter.
