Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 08:30 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center

Starting Location: Spooner Lake State Park Parking. Directions: Take I-580 South to US-50 West (in Carson City). In about 9.7 miles, veer right onto NV-28. In about a mile, turn right into Spooner Lake State Park and go to the Parking Lot.
     Entrance/User Fee(s): 10.00     Facilities: Flush Toilet

Description: An easy to mild 2.5 miles at Spooner Lake State Park. The snowshoe will be on the 2.5-mile loop trail around Spooner Lake.

Distance(s): 2.5     Route Type: Loop     Difficulty: 2 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: Bring a change of shoes to keep your feet happy and in case of some mud.

What to Bring: Snowshoes, Poles, Water, Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Dress in layers.
