Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 09:00 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center
Starting Location: Mount Rose (Summit) TH. Directions: I-580 South to NV-431 exit; past Mt Rose Ski Tahoe. At the summit, you will come to a parking lot on your right. Trailhead starts behind restrooms.
Elevation: 8911
Description: This will be a low-key, moderately-paced ramble through the campground and surrounding areas, on both powder and packed snow. We can decide to go up the hill a bit, or out into the meadow.
Distance(s): 2.5 Route Type: Out-and-Back Elevation Gain: 100 (ft) Difficulty: 3 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)
