Starting Location: Hidden Valley Trails TH. Directions: From east McCarran Blvd or Veterans Parkway, turn east on Pembroke Drive, up the hill to Parkway Dr. Turn right (south) on Parkway Dr. and follow it into the Hidden Valley Regional Park.

Description: The entire hike will be 2.5 miles. All along this walk there are beautiful views of the Truckee Meadows and the Sierra mountains. This trail is mostly single track natural surface. There are a few gentle hills totaling 300 ft elevation gain. We will start hiking north on the Perimeter Loop and walk around to the Mia Vista South entrance of the park. We will continue around the Perimeter Loop for 2.5 miles, arriving back at the cars. We will probably see horses during this section of the trail.
