Starting Location: Double Diamond Wetlands TH. Directions: Take I-580 south to Exit #24 (S. Meadows Pkwy). Turn left, go about 0.5 mile and turn right onto Double R Blvd, then take the first left (Lauren Court) into the commercial area. This will put you in the rear of Smith’s Market. Park along the pathway that separates the wetlands from the parking area.

Description: We will be walking around the Double Diamond Wetlands area. The entire trail is paved and flat. We will pass by Double Diamond Elementary School and see area residences. The walk includes a lap around a small lake and perhaps we will see some wildlife in the wetlands.

Route Type: Out-and-Back

Arrive at 8:45, the walk begins at 9:00. There are restrooms in Smith’s.

What to Bring: Might want to consider bringing drinking water and using sunscreen.
