Event: Tahoe-Pyramid Trail ~ Fleish Bridge

Starting Location: TPT (Quilici Ranch) TH. Directions: I-80 west to EXIT 3. Turn left at the end of the off ramp. Immediately past the railroad tracks, turn left on Quilici Ranch Road. Drive about 1.6 miles to the parking lot on the right.

Description: Most of the trail is on a gravel road with loose rocks through pine trees and brush. It’s mostly flat with two steep sections. Mary pre-hiked it on Sunday, and it has a little snow, mud, and puddles, but is manageable. The highlight of this hike is the Fleish suspension bridge and dam. We will have lunch past the bridge, by the river.

Distance(s): 7.5     Route Type: Out-and-Back     Difficulty: 5 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

Event Specific Information: Watch your email on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning for possibility of cancellation due to weather conditions.

What to Bring: Wear shoes suitable for hiking on dirt trails with loose rocks and mud. Layer clothing as appropriate for the weather. Trekking poles for those who use them. Sun protection. Bring plenty of water, snack/lunch.
