Ride Sharing: Wedge Pkwy Starbucks Parking Lot @ 08:30 AM. Directions: 18250 Wedge Pkwy in Galena Junction Shopping Center

Starting Location: Relay Peak Road at Mt Rose Hwy. Directions: From Reno take I-580 south to exit 24 and merge onto NV-431, the Mt Rose Hwy. Continue for around 16 miles. You will pass the Mt Rose Ski Area. At the summit, you will come to a parking lot on your right. Continue past the parking lot for 0.3 mile and park on the highway

Description: During the summer months Relay Peak Road is a popular mountain bike trail and during the winter it is a fine choice for a snowshoe hike. The road is wide and the views are superior. We look below to Tahoe Meadows and across Lake Tahoe to the mountain peaks beyond.
