Mayberry Park to Dorostkar Park, West Reno

Meet in the parking area at Mayberry Park at 9:15 am.  The walk will begin at 9:30 am.

This is an out and back walk from Mayberry Park; almost 4 miles out and back.  The walk will be on a paved path with some dirt paths in Dorostkar Park if the ground is dry. If the ground is still wet from the up and coming storm, we will stay on the concrete path.  Sections of this walk includes, tree coverage and walking along the Truckee River.

Directions: From Hwy 80, Exit 10 (West McCarran) head south.  Go 9/10ths of a mile and turn rt on 4^th Street.  Continue on 4^th Street for about 2 miles.  Then, turn left on Woodland Avenue.  Proceed down Woodland until you reach Mayberry Park.  We will meet there.  There is a portable toilet in the parking area.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, carry water and a snack.  You may want a walking stick.  Also, everyone must have a signed waiver/release form on file with OLLI.  If you do not have one, they will be available that morning.
