Starting Location: East Keystone TH. Directions: Take North McCarran Blvd to Leadership Parkway (near a large water tank) located 1.1 miles west of North Virginia Street. Turn north onto Leadership Parkway and proceed 0.3 miles to a right turn into the signed Keystone Canyon parking area.
Facilities: Porta Potty

Description: From the start at the trailhead on East Keystone Canyon the round trip hike proceeds north through Keystone Canyon below the base of Peavine Peak. It begins along a dry creek bed and continues through the deep cleft of Keystone Canyon for approximately 1.7 miles where it connects to the dirt Hoge Road. We will turn around there and return to the trailhead for a distance of about 3.5 miles

Distance(s): 3.5     Route Type: Out-and-Back     Difficulty: 3 (1=Easy thru 10=Very Difficult)

What to Bring: Drinking water and snacks. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Trekking poles may be useful.
